Michael Sheldon, Pulitzer Prize winner and New York Times bestseller, will present a talk on his latest book at Michigan City’s Barker Mansion on Saturday, April 7. His work, Young Titan: The Making of Winston Churchill, has been widely praised on both sides of the Atlantic. The free program is made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities. The mansion was one of 20 non-profit organizations in the state awarded the opportunity to host a recipient of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award. In addition to Sheldon’s talk, mansion staff has planned complimentary programming throughout the afternoon. The schedule on April 7 is as follows: 3-3:45 pm Central Time: Self-guided tours of the mansion, reduced fee of $3 per person. 4-6 pm: Young Titan: The Making of Winston Churchill with Michael Sheldon, free with soft drinks available for purchase. 6:15-7 pm: From Opposite Shores: Young Titan and Midwest Millionaire, fee of $10 per person.
