Wednesday, Sheriff John T. Boyd and Michigan City Police Chief Mark Swistek hosted an active shooter tabletop exercise at Michigan City Town Hall. Mr. Lance Bella, Chief Executive Officer of Vertex Tactical, coordinated and facilitated the exercise. Approximately sixty representatives/officials participated in the exercise. The exercise elicited an open forum of discussion full of ideas and strategies.
