Purdue University Northwest’s (PNW) College of Technology will offer free cybersecurity summer camps for high school teachers and students from northwest Indiana, southwest Michigan and the Chicago metropolitan area through a $194,010 grant, jointly funded by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). This is the third consecutive year PNW has received the grant for the summer programs. Two week-long sessions for high school students are slated for 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., June 11 – 15 and June 18 – 22 at PNW’s Hammond Campus. One session for high school teachers is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., July 16 – 20 on the Westville Campus. Instruction will be led by PNW faculty in the Department of Computer Information Technology & Graphics, as well as the College of Technology and School of Education and Counseling.
