Moms and parents-to-be may have a lot of questions about what it means to have a healthy pregnancy. Bethany Cluskey, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., an obstetrician and gynecologist with La Porte Physician Network Women’s Care, has answers, and is inviting the community to meet her personally for a free program. The program is ideal for anyone who is pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, and for significant others, family or friends who are supporting pregnant moms. Dr. Cluskey will walk participants through a helpful discussion about nutrition and exercise recommendations for women, and how they change with pregnancy and breastfeeding. She’ll also cover what kinds of exercises are safe and healthy during pregnancy. Registration is required in advance for “Taking Care of Baby Starts Before She’s Born.” Register online at healthymommy.eventbrite.com, or visit La Porte Hospital’s Facebook Page @LPHospital.
“Taking Care of Baby Starts Before She’s Born” will be from 6-7 p.m., June 20 at the Best
Western Plus La Porte Hotel & Conference Center, 444 Pine Lake Ave., La Porte. The program is free and open to the public, and refreshments and snacks will be available.
