The Michigan City Brownfields Coalition (MCBC) will be hosting a public meeting at 5:00 PM, on May 22nd, at the Michigan City Sanitary District, located at 1100 E. 8th Street, Michigan City, IN 36360. This public meeting will follow the regularly scheduled Sanitary District Board of Commissioners Meeting. The MCBC is comprised of the Michigan City Sanitary District, the City of Michigan City, and the Michigan City Redevelopment Commission.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with information regarding the $600,000 Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Hazardous Substances and Petroleum Brownfields Coalition Assessment Grant. The presentation will include a summary of the Grant framework and an update on the Coalition’s progress to date. There will also be time allotted for questions from the general public.
