In conjunction with the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Porter County Health Department has identified an individual traveling through Porter County as potentially infected with the novel coronavirus. Final diagnosis awaits the results of laboratory tests to be performed by the CDC. Out of an abundance of caution, the individual has been placed in isolation and is currently under active medical supervision. In the interim, all applicable protocols have been implemented.
