Michigan City Fire department responded to the 500 block of Dewey street on Wednesday, February 26th for a report of a structure fire with entrapment. Upon arrival crews found heavy fire conditions in the rear of the structure. Crews promptly entered the home to search for life and extinguish the fire. Crews did find one deceased male in the structure. Fire is still under investigation.
