City of La Porte firefighters proudly showcase the table made by Firefighter Jesse Bowen (center) Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at Fire Station 3 in La Porte. The table, built from salvaged wood from the previous Fire Station 3, was made to commemorate the old station and bring a piece of it into the new firehouse. The department relocated in September after over 50 years at the previous location.
