Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) is proud to be an Indiana Arts Commission’s Arts Organization Support Merit Awardee. In addition to receiving annual operating support, LCA has received a $1000 award in recognition of innovation and dedication to providing public benefit in the last year. Thank you to the National Endowment for the Arts, the Indiana Arts Commission, Governor Holcomb, Lieutenant Governor Crouch, and LCA’s Regional Arts Partner South Short Arts.
“The projects and organizations that are receiving funding have major positive impacts on the cultural, economic, and educational climate of Indiana,” says Alberta Barker, Chair of the IAC. “Arts and creativity make us stronger as individuals, families, communities, and as a state.”
In addition, Lubeznik Center for the Arts was awarded $12,388.00 to support exhibitions, tours, community engagement, and arts education and outreach programs. “We are grateful for the support that bolsters so many of our core programs and activities.” Executive Director, Janet Bloch, commented.
As a 501(c)(3), LCA will be able to continue its commitment to integrate arts, education, and community and provide access to compelling exhibitions and programs that explore contemporary ideas. (LCA is located at 101 W. 2nd Street, at the lakefront, in Michigan City, Indiana.)
