The City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department maintenance staff Tuesday and Wednesday morning spread over 245 tons of sand along Stone Lake Beach.
The park department thanked the La Porte Park Foundation for funding this project on its Facebook page.
At Stone Lake Beach Lifeguards on duty and concession stand open from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily through August 14.
