The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office announced on their Facebook page that State Road 39 will be closed at the Kankakee River Bridge from Oct. 30 through Nov. 20.
The work is for a bridge deck overlay project.
The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office says the official detour is U.S. 30, U.S. 35 and State Road 8.
