On Friday, Mayor Duane Parry announced the recipients of the Non-Profit Grants in a presentation at City Hall. Funding for these grants was funding the City received from the American Relief Plan.
Representatives from each organization were present to receive their award.
This was the second cycle of the ARPA Grants from the City of Michigan City.

For the second cycle:
There were 33 Grant Requests
22 Grant Requests were recommended and approved.
The total amount requested was $1,209,279
$579,642 of grant requests were recommended and approved.
