La Porte, IN — The Pax Center is thrilled to announce its annual Christmas Day Community Meal, set to take place on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Pax Center, 605 Washington St., La Porte, IN. This free meal is open to everyone in the community, inviting individuals and families to celebrate the holiday season with warmth, food, and fellowship.

Guided by our mission to keep La Porte County well-fed and well-loved, we hope this meal will offer the spirit of connection and joy. We’re grateful for the generous support of Sons of the American Legion Post 297 in New Carlisle and Groceries by Joe, who helped make this meal possible through their donations. Additionally, we are blessed by our volunteers who share their time, coordinate donations, and work tirelessly to prepare and serve.

The community is invited to contribute homemade desserts to add a sweet touch to the festivities. Dessert donations can be dropped off on Saturday, December 21, between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. or on Christmas Day from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please package in a container that does not need to be returned.

We don’t want anyone to spend Christmas Day alone—please share this invitation with anyone who may need fellowship and a joyful meal on this special day. For more information, please contact Jamie Buchanan at jbuchanan@thepaxcenter.com
