The December 2024 Michigan City Police Commission meeting was filled with recognitions from the MCPD Administration to members of the police department and community.

MCPD officers were recognized for their works down during investigations pertaining to the apprehension of suspects in the 2024 double homicide at Normandy Village, 2023 homicide in 700 block of E. 10th Street, and 2024 shooting at 129 Hendricks Street.
