St. Luke United Lutheran Church invites the community to attend a special mid-day worship service on Christmas Eve.
The family-oriented service of Holy Communion will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 24 at the church, which is located at 2000 E. Coolspring Avenue in Trail Creek.
Guest Pastor Erik Bernth will lead the service, which will feature special music by soloist Michelle Shumaker, flautist Betsy Kohn, and organist Diana Richmond.
St. Luke fosters a welcoming environment for worshippers of all ages. It offers a “pray-ground” in its sanctuary, where toddlers and young children are welcome to play and relax during the service while parents worship nearby.
In addition to the Christmas Eve noontime service, a service of lessons and carols will be held on Sunday, December 29 at 10:30am. The service will be led by St. Luke lay leader Jeanoma Babcock. Those who enjoy singing sacred songs of the season are encouraged to attend this popular Christmas service.
