In Jasper County an Indiana Department of Transportation contractor will close U.S. 231 between County Road 1400 South and County Road 1500 South on or after Monday, September 22.
U.S. 231 will be closed through late October for a culvert replacement. Motorists should seek alternate routes.
The official detour will follow I-65 and U.S. 24.
