Two men were jailed after Indiana Conservation Officer Ryan Vanderlugt caught them netting and taking over the limit of salmon from Trail Creek over the weekend, according to the Indiana DNR.
The DNR says a third subject fled on foot and will face additional charges after leaving his identification at the scene.
The fish were confiscated and donated to the Michigan City Zoo.
