WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM
CST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. A period of heavy lake effect
  snow with rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour and poor visibility.
  Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Locally higher
  amounts possible, especially along the Porter County line.

* WHERE...Northern La Porte and Southern La Porte Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel conditions will deteriorate quickly
  within the lake effect snow band. Visibility of less than 1 mile
  and snow covered roads will create highly variable and dangerous
  travel conditions over small distances.  Interstates impacted will
  include I 90 and I 94.
