On January 7, 2026, Laporte County Prosecuting Attorney Sean Fagan appointed local attorney
Guy S. DiMartino as Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.
Mr. DiMartino brings over 25 years of legal experience to the position, having represented
clients in both federal and state courts in Indiana, Florida, and Illinois. Mr. DiMartino also has
provided years of public service to Laporte County, having represented the County in a number
of roles, including County Council Attorney, Redevelopment Commission Attorney, and most
recently, as County Attorney.
Prosecuting Attorney Fagan said: “The Chief Deputy is an important position, and affects the
lives of many. Guy possesses personal and professional wisdom, a mature and balanced
temperament, and has the extensive legal and trial experience that is necessary for the overall
