* WHAT…Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero.

* WHERE…Benton, Jasper, Lake IN, Newton, and Porter Counties.

* WHEN…Until noon CST /1 PM EST/ today.

* IMPACTS…The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

.WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ THIS EVENING…

* WHAT…Lake effect snow and blowing snow expected. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. Blowing and drifting snow,
especially through mid afternoon today. Visibilities of less than
one quarter of a mile due to snow and blowing snow are possible at times, with the greatest impacts expected along and north of the
Toll Road. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph with the strongest
gusts occurring this morning into midday.

* WHERE…Eastern St. Joseph IN, Elkhart, Northern La Porte, and
Western St. Joseph IN Counties.

* WHEN…Until 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ this evening.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday
morning commute.
