Passengers are reminded that South Shore Line will return to a regular weekday train schedule on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. Hazardous weather advisories continue to be active, with a Winter Storm Warning in Indiana until 9 am, Jan. 26, and a Cold Weather Advisory in Indiana and Chicago until noon, Jan. 26. The forecasts include heavy snow and additional accumulations of 3″-6″ in Indiana, with further lake-effect snow. In Chicago, dangerously cold wind chills of -20 degrees are possible.
Due to temporary operating conditions as a result of inclement weather, the following service revisions will be in effect Monday morning, Jan. 26, 2026:
WB Tr 104 & Tr 106 will be combined, operating on Tr 106’s time.
WB Tr 108 & Tr 110 will be combined, operating on Tr 110’s time.
WB Tr 112 & Tr 114 will be combined, operating on Tr 114’s time.
WB Tr 214 & Tr 16 will be combined from Miller Station, operating on Tr 16’s time and making all station stops.
EB Tr 201 & Tr 203 will be combined, operating on Tr 2
