The La Porte Invitational returns January 8–10, 2027, bringing another incredible lineup of high school basketball to the historic La Porte Civic Auditorium.

And if you’re a basketball fan, you’ll want to be there.

BIG NEWS: One of this year’s games will be broadcast LIVE nationally on Fox Sports 1!

Local powerhouse La Lumiere will take on AZ Compass at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, in a matchup that’s sure to be one of the weekend’s highlights. AZ Compass was ranked No. 4 in the nation last season, and now they’re coming to La Porte to face the hometown team.

Over the years, the Invitational has welcomed 30+ McDonald’s All-Americans and 25+ future NBA Draft picks — including 2025 NBA Draft No. 1 overall selection Cooper Flagg.

This is your chance to see the talent of tomorrow, today — before many of these players take the next step to college basketball and beyond.
