IU Northwest hosting fourth annual Teacher Recruitment Fair on April 23 pairing teachers with more than 20 schools and school corporations in Northwest Indiana

The School of Education and the Office of Career Services at Indiana University Northwest are hosting the fourth annual Teacher Recruitment Fair on Friday, April 23. This year, the event will be held virtually, with two sessions available for participants to choose from: 10 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Twenty school corporations, which includes multiple schools, as well individual public, charter, and private schools throughout Northwest Indiana will be actively recruiting candidates during the fair to fill available positions for teachers, administrators, and more. Due to the pandemic, several schools are urgently seeking to hire teachers and administrators for all grades and subjects as soon as possible.

The event is open to qualified graduating students and alumni from any college or university. Previous fairs have attracted students and alumni from Northwestern University, Grand Valley State University, and Ball State University. Attendees should register in advance at iun.edu/teacherfair.
