A work zone crash occurred Thursday morning on U.S. 30 near County Road 750 East in Starke County, according to INDOT.
The crash involved construction vehicles being hit while a contracted crew was collecting soil borings.
All westbound lanes of US 30 were closed for at least 2 and a half hours and traffic was diverted to State Road 23.
