News Release, Purdue University Northwest:

The Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest will host John H. Davies, the author of “Extraordinary Ordinary Innovators,” for a book signing and networking event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on June 12 at Anderson’s Winery and Vineyard, 430 E. U.S. Highway 6, Valparaiso, IN.

John Davies’ new book, “Extraordinary Ordinary Innovators, demonstrates the importance of truth and ideas through innovation. Innovators see things that others do not see by “thinking differently” – new, improved and different ways of doing things. Through his book, Davies aims to inspire everyday people to embrace innovation to improve their lives, communities and country. “Extraordinary Ordinary Innovators” is an introduction to innovation and encourages people to learn more about this gift to discover solutions, invent things and make the world a better place.

“We are excited to host John Davies for the launch of his new book,” said Jason Williams, assistant director of the Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest. “As the founder of the Society and its first managing director, John has been instrumental in creating a culture of innovation in Northwest Indiana. He was first to say that innovation exists in our region and continues to exhibit his thought leadership through ‘Extraordinary Ordinary Innovators.’”

The “Extraordinary Ordinary Innovators” book signing and networking event is open to the public. Registration is $25 per person. Tickets include a copy of the book and one drink ticket. Light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will also be available. More information and free registration can be found at pnw.edu/soi.
