Michigan City Police Department Social Worker, Jocelyn Colburn, recently received the Michigan City Human Rights Commission Unsung Hero Award.
The MCPD says Colburn was nominated and selected due to her work with the community.
The award was presented to Colburn at a banquet that recognized the Humanitarian of The Year and winners of two scholarships presented by the commission.
