In Lake County, an Indiana Department of Transportation contractor will close State Road 2 between Marshall St and State Road 55 on or after Monday, July 14.
State Road 2 will be closed for approximately two weeks for bridge repairs at Spring Run Creek.
Motorists should seek alternate routes. The official detour will follow U.S. 41, State Road 10 and I-65.
