See the world’s fastest and most powerful offshore boats dash and splash along the southern edge of Lake Michigan, visible from Washington Park beach and shoreline. Meet boat owners, racers and team members staged throughout Washington Park. This free, action-packed weekend boasts a boat parade, block party, live entertainment, family activities, festival food and drinks and the ultimate in power-boat racing.   Stay tuned for the daily schedule which will be released later this year.

Join us this summer for the 42nd Lubeznik Arts Festival (LAF)! LAF is one of the highlights of summer in Northwest Indiana! Taking place on LCA’s grounds, just steps away from Lake Michigan, LAF connects festivalgoers to our dynamic programming and exhibitions. During this year’s festival, we’ll have all sorts of artists, local food vendors, indoor exhibitions, family activities, demos and a live mural competition. Enjoy wine tastings from a variety of local wineries. On Saturday, September 16, our Vino al Fresco will be hosted in downtown Chesterton, at Thomas Centennial Park. Your ticket includes entry, unlimited tastings, live music and commemorative glass. Wineries & Food TBD This is a standing wine tasting event that takes place in Thomas Centennial Park. Limited seating will be available in the park. Feel free to bring your own chairs or picnic blankets.
