Michigan City Area Schools advised the public Monday in a Facebook post that the natural gas odor in the community Monday morning — which has been reported by several schools — was due to the NIPSCO work being done near US Hwy 421 and 300N.
Michigan City Area Schools said Monday, “There is no leak or spill and NIPSCO has confirmed that there is no issue at our buildings today.”
