The La Porte Police Department announced Monday that due to a noticeable uptick in accidents and citizen complaints the department is going to start doing weekly focused traffic blitzes.
Police say the blitzes will be with the aid of Patrol, Chief and Assistant Chief and Detective Bureau personnel.
The department also says the dates will be on random weekdays and weekends.
