The City of La Porte announced the intersection of 3rd and F Streets will be closed all of next week as the Water Department makes necessary infrastructure improvements.
The city says the work is part of the infrastructure plan that was proposed a couple of years ago to bring their water and wastewater systems into the 21st century.
The city asks the public to seek an alternative route during this time.
