The Michigan City Police Department recently recognized three officers with awards and commendations at the February Michigan City Police Commission meeting.
Corporal Aaron Bass and Lieutenant Anna Painter received Letters of Commendation.
Painter could not attend the meeting.
Officer Nicholas Charo received the Officer Chris Smith Award. Rene Smith, the wife of the late Officer Chris Smith, was on hand for the presentation.
