The Porter County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday that it has raised over $23,000 to purchase its first bomb detection K9 in department history.
The K9 was named Luna, the department said on its Facebook page.
The funds were also used to completely outfit Cpl. Gosbin’s car with equipment.
