The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that in Lake and Porter counties, U.S. 231 will be resurfaced between I-65 and State Road 2 starting on or after Monday, May 1.
U.S. 231 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic in the area where work is occurring.
The project will be ongoing through late August.
