LA PORTE COUNTY – U.S. 421 will be closed at the railroad crossing between U.S. 6 and C.R. 700 S beginning on or after Monday, August 10.
U.S. 421 will be closed in this location for approximately six days while the railroad works on their crossing. The closure will be confined to this location, and local access will be maintained up to that point.
Through traffic should seek alternate routes. The official detour will follow U.S. 6, State Road 39 and U.S. 30.
