An Indiana Department of Transportation contractor will close State Road 16 between County Road 280 West and County Road 180 West on or after Tuesday, Sept. 3.
State Road 16 will be closed through late Oct. for a bridge deck overlay preventative maintenance project over Bice Ditch.
Motorists should seek alternate routes. The official detour will follow U.S. 231, State Road 114 and U.S. 421.
