Conservation officers at the DNR are recognizing the staff of the Indiana Dunes National Park after a water rescue occurred Thursday.
Thursday afternoon National Park life guards rescued three people from the waters of Lake Michigan.
The DNR says conservation officers would like to remind everyone to be careful when swimming in any body of water, be mindful of the weather forecast, and know your own limitations while in the water.
