In Michigan City, the long-awaited repair of the CSX rail crossing at Woodland Avenue has been scheduled, CSX officials confirmed to the city Wednesday.
Weather permitting, repairs are expected to begin on Monday, July 14 and be complete by Saturday, July 19.
That segment of Woodland will be closed during repairs, so motorists are advised to seek an alternate route of travel throughout the week.
