In the Town of Porter, Waverly Road will be closed between Hjelm Road and Ballard Drive from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, May 4.
Indiana American Water Company will be installing water services for three new homes on Waverly Road, according to a Facebook post from the Town of Chesterton.
The Detour is Hjelm Road to Fleming Street to Ballard Drive, then back to Waverly Road.
For workers’s safety, barricades will be placed on Waverly Road.
