State-led debris removal operations will conduct a final pass-through of the Town of Burns Harbor, City of La Porte and Town of Porter this week to remove right-of-way debris.
Residents should place any remaining vegetative or construction debris from the August severe weather and flooding curbside daily through Friday morning.
Normal trash collection will resume after Friday, Oct. 23, 2026.
