PORTER COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 149 from Lenburg Rd/C.R. 1050 N north to Joliet Ave will be closed beginning Monday, April 19. Drivers should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow U.S. 20, State Road 49 and U.S. 6. The intersection of Lenburg Rd and State Road 149 will be open for motorists to travel east or west on Lenburg Rd or south on State Road 149.

The South Shore Line will be busing passengers on four weekday trains on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, due to track work: Eastbound Tr 7 (departing Millennium Station at 8:45am CT);Eastbound Tr 9 (departing Millennium Station at 12:35pm CT);Westbound Tr 18 (departing South Bend at 12:49pm ET);Westbound Tr 20 (departing South Bend at 4:45pm ET). The busing will take place between Carroll Ave. and South Bend Airport stations. Buses for these trains will arrive and depart with passengers to match our published Monday-Friday train schedule between Carroll Ave. and South Bend.
