Mother’s Day Plant and Flower Sale with Michigan City Area Schools The Social Events Committee of the Michigan City Area Schools Transportation Department will be hosting its 6th Annual Mother’s Day Plant and Flower Sale on Friday, May 7. The sale runs from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. on the front lawn of the Service Building at 1100 S. Woodland Ave, Michigan City, directly behind Joy Elementary School. Laporte County Meals on Wheels Shoe Drive will be from April 1 - May 31. 4 Locations in Michigan City and 3 in Laporte. Meals on Wheels provides therapeutically prepared nutritious hot meals delivered to homebound, seniors and disabled persons. Covid-19 Clinic open today at Purdue Northwest

Purdue Northwest has partnered with the La Porte County Health Department and HealthLinc to offer a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at our Westville Campus. This clinic is open to the community TODAY, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and there are appointments available! The clinic is offering the Moderna vaccine. This vaccine will require two doses, with the second dose administered at the PNW campus on May 20. (When you get your vaccine today, HealthLinc will register you to return for your second dose.) La Porte County Syphony Orchestra Welcomes Back Gary Thor Wedow

The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra concludes its 48th Season on Saturday, April 17 by welcoming home La Porte native and Guest Conductor, Gary Thor Wedow. This in-person concert will be held at 7:00 PM CDT at La Porte's Civic Auditorium , 1001 Ridge Street.
