Emergency with state’s propane supply
Citing an emergency with the state’s propane supply, Governor Eric Holcomb has signed an executive order which waives some of the time restrictions for truck drivers who haul the fuel. Throughout the Midwest, there have been reports of propane shortages and long lines at terminals. The governor’s office says some terminals have run out of the fuel. The forecast for cold temperatures this week will mean additional demand for the fuel as Hoosiers crank up the heat on their homes and businesses. Another draw on the supply is agriculture.
