On May 13, 2021, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a Trooper with the Indiana State Police Toll Road All Crimes Policing Team (ACP) conducted a traffic stop on the Indiana Toll Road near the 37 mile-marker in Porter County. Enrolling in the 21st Century Scholars program should be easy, and that is why Purdue University Northwest (PNW) is set to host the 21st Century Scholars Family Registration Days. The on-campus events aim to help students register for the scholarship program by providing computer lab access and personalized help with submitting the online application. On November 20, 2020, at 4:32 PM, deputies were dispatched to US 20 and CR 200 East, reference a personal injury crash. The crash involved four (4) vehicles resulting in several being injured. One of the drivers, Brian E. KLINGERMAN (62 YOA) of Bremen, Indiana, was transported from the scene to a regional hospital for treatment. KLINGERMAN later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries sustained in the crash. The initial investigation determined Arthur C. MCNEELEY (61 YOA) of Mishawaka caused the crash by rear-ending an eastbound US 20 vehicle. Following the impact, MCNEELEY’S vehicle drove left

The demand for a Purdue University education remains higher than ever as the university expects to welcome, for the second year in a row, its largest ever incoming class for the fall of 2021. More than 10,000 freshmen, which would be the largest class in any Big Ten school since at least 2005, are expected to arrive on campus for in-person learning this fall, with increases of both Indiana and out-of-state residents.
