Juvenile facing delinquency charge of intimidation in incident at Chesterton High School
A delinquency charge of intimidation has been filed against a 16-year-old junior after the Chesterton Police Department said that he brought a “realistic-looking” Airsoft gun to Chesterton High School Wednesday morning, the Chesterton Police announced on their Facebook page. A lockdown was put into place at Chesterton High School at approximately 9:30 a.m., while the Chesterton Police Department investigated. At approximately 10:15 a.m. the CPD reported that the lockdown had been lifted. The student was reportedly transported to the Porter County Juvenile Services Center.
